Swimming has been known for ages. It was found in the drawings of the Stone Age in caves southwest of Ancient Egypt. Swimming started as a sport in Europe approximately in 1800 where chest swimming was widely spread. Swimming activates and develops all body muscles, strengthens the heart and lungs and calms down the nerves. The fat level decreases and the muscle mass may increase in the body of regular swimmers without any increase in weight. Therefore, swimming can be a helping factor in weight loss.
The interior swimming pool includes a half-Olympic pool, a children’s pool and a bleacher. Those interested in swimming can fill in a membership application for one month, three months, or six months. The application is then filed to the Financial Department. After fees are paid, a membership card is issued. Family membership starting at three months to a year is also available.
